FAQ's
Our Clinics
What should I expect at my first visit?
At your initial consultation, we’ll listen carefully to your health concerns, take a full history, and perform a thorough examination. If needed, we can refer you for imaging (such as X-rays) to assist in diagnosis. We’ll explain our findings clearly and discuss your personalised care plan options.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us at any time.
Can I claim private health insurance rebates?
Yes. If you have Extras cover that includes chiropractic services, you may be eligible for a rebate. We offer on-the-spot claiming with HICAPS for most health funds.
Do you refer for imaging if needed?
Yes. We can refer directly for spinal X-rays (usually Bulk Billed through Medicare where eligible). We work closely with your GP or specialist if advanced imaging such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound is required.
Will I need ongoing treatment?
Every case is different. Some patients require only a short course of care to resolve an issue, while others choose ongoing care for injury prevention or wellness. We’ll tailor recommendations based on your goals and preferences.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable, flexible clothing. If imaging is needed, you may be asked to remove jewellery or metal objects. We have gowns available for your comfort if needed.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care is widely regarded as safe when performed by trained and registered practitioners. We use evidence-informed, individually tailored approaches based on your specific needs.
Can chiropractic help if I'm not sure what’s causing my pain?
Absolutely. A key part of our role is to assess, diagnose, and guide you toward the right care pathway — whether that’s chiropractic treatment or referral to another healthcare professional.
What if I need a specialist or further testing?
We work closely with local GPs, radiologists, sports physicians, and specialists. If needed, we’ll coordinate further investigations or specialist referrals to ensure you get the best possible care.
