Elizabeth Son

Hi, I’m Elizabeth, a registered Acupuncturist with AHPRA and a member of AACMA. I’m fluent in English and Korean, and I’m passionate about helping people restore balance, ease pain, and reconnect with their bodies through gentle, effective Chinese Medicine care.

My interest in acupuncture began when I experienced relief from scoliosis-related pain. That experience inspired a deep respect for the body’s ability to heal and encouraged me to help others find the same sense of recovery and resilience. I see each treatment as a shared journey – working together to not only relieve symptoms but also prevent future discomfort and promote long-term wellbeing.

I hold a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed my clinical internship at Nanjing Hospital of TCM in China. My practice has also extended internationally through a medical outreach program in Lebanon, where I provided acupuncture support for diverse health needs. These experiences have strengthened my belief in combining empathy, skill, and evidence-based practice to achieve meaningful outcomes.

My clinical focus includes pain management, electroacupuncture, women’s health, digestive issues, oedema, fatigue, sleep, and emotional wellbeing. I enjoy working with both chronic and acute conditions, with a special interest in helping patients integrate healthier habits and maintain balance in their everyday lives.

Outside of practice, I serve in my church’s youth community, where I mentor and support young people. This has shaped the way I approach care – with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to see others grow in both health and confidence.
