Relieve wrist pain and protect your hands.
Understanding Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) occurs when the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, usually due to repetitive hand activities, poor wrist posture, fluid retention, or underlying health conditions like diabetes.
CTS can significantly impair hand function if not properly treated.
Common Symptoms
- Numbness and tingling in the thumb, index, middle, and half of the ring finger
- Weak grip strength
- Wrist pain, especially at night
- Hand clumsiness (dropping objects)
How We Help
Our conservative approach aims to reduce pressure on the median nerve and support natural healing:
- Chiropractic adjustments to optimise wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck alignment
- Myofascial release therapy for the forearm and wrist muscles
- Advice on wrist splinting (especially for night use)
- Ergonomic modifications for typing, mouse use, and manual work
- Specific exercises to stretch and strengthen the wrist and hand
In some cases, we work closely with other healthcare providers for collaborative care if surgical consultation is needed.
